Our primary source of information is the Accounting & Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) and the Supreme & State Courts.

In addition to 2 sources, we value add through our research work, compilation of financial data & analysis and credit ratings. Our research work is based on various sources such as research papers and news reports.

2. How many companies does QuestNet cover?
As many as there are registered with the Singapore's Accounting & Corporate Regulatory Authority(ACRA). That isbecause of a strategic alliance with ACRA that enables the sharing of database to provide you with current online information. 4. How can I check my debtor’s credit worthiness?
Conduct an “Total Corporate Search” &/or “Enhanced Individual Search” as it gives you a 10-year litigation trace aside from the usual information Business Profile and Business Interest Check.
Looking at their litigation records may give you a better picture of their credit worthiness.

5. How will I know if a person is being sued for bankruptcy?
You can conduct the Enhanced Individual Search (EIS), which provides:-

7. Why is the Entity/Company that I searched for not found?
You have to key in the Entity/Company name exactly as how they have registered with ACRA. Alternatively, you can simply key in the Entity/Company name in partial (minimum 6 characters) then hit “Enter”, in the Web Page Dialog will display a list of company starting with these characters for you to select.

8. What is the difference between “Available Litigation” and “Detailed Litigation”?
Available Litigation is the detail as available in our database. It may or may not be the latest update of the suit. To know the latest update of the suit, you will need to conduct a Detailed Litigation search.

9. Can I retrieve the “Detailed Litigation” instantly?
There is an hour turnaround time for Detailed Litigation. You may visit the website to collect result an hour later.

“1999” – Filing Year
“Supreme Court” – Type of Court
“1588” – Case No.

11. Why are the financial statements of some companies not available?
Financial statements may or may not be available for sole proprietorship, partnership, foreign branch or limited exempt companies as they are not required to file in their financial statements with ACRA.

14. Can I share the Credit Report, which I have purchased, with third parties?
The answer is No. The information provided in a Credit Report is confidential. The information is furnished in strict confidence at your request for your exclusive use as a basis for credit, marketing and other business decisions. It is your own purchased copy. As such, this information must not be communicated with external parties or the firm reported on. You may, however, disclose this information with employees who have a legitimate business need for the said information.

15. Can I retrieve my searches again on the same day?
Yes. Simply click on “Collect Orders” to retrieve your search again at no additional charge.

16. Can I re-collect my search result after the day of transaction?
Yes, you will be able to re-collect the search result within 5 calendar days from the day of transaction.

17. If I forgot to collect my search result after placing order, can I still retrieve it on the following day?
Yes, you can. In fact the order will still be available online for your collection within 30 days from the day of transaction.

18. Previously when I searched for an Available Credit Report on a company, it was unavailable on your database. However, when I searched on the same company a few days later, there was an existing Available Credit Report? Why is this so?
Our team of experienced Business Analysts are continually researching and writing new Credit Reports. As soon as they are available, credit reports will be posted on QuestNet so that you can purchase it for your day-to-day business activities.

19. In your credit reports, why do some companies have credit ratings while others don't?
Our credit ratings are based on both qualitative and quantitative factors. As such, we are unable to offer credit ratings for companies without quantitative factors like sales/turnover, paid-up capital and other financial figures. These would include sole-proprietorships and partnerships, foreign branches and certain limited exempt companies.

20. Why does the information provided in the local/foreign credit reports vary for different countries?
This is because different countries have different filing requirements. As such, the information that is furnished in our report may differ from country to country.

21. My company has been in operation for many years. Why is it that I can't find it in your database?
As long as your company is registered with ACRA, we will have your company's records in our database. To purchase your company's records, simply type in the company's partial name and click on Search. This is because our search engine is based on the exact spelling of your company's name as registered with ACRA. Should you have any inquiries, please contact us at cs@experian.com.

22. Why is it that some reports do not have the financial statements of the company?
Financial statements may or may not be available for sole proprietorships, partnerships, foreign branches or limited exempt companies. This is because these companies are not required to file their financial statements with ACRA.

1. How can I check my balance points?
To view your balance points, you have to login to QuestNet, click "My Account" located at the top menu bar and click "View Balance Points".

2. Can I opt for a different Subscription Plan?
Yes, you can UPGRADE your Subscription Plan anytime. In addition to the balance brought forward to the new plan. e.g. from Silver to Gold, or Gold to Platinum.

On the other hand, you may wish to renew to a lower Subscription Plan, e.g. from Platinum to Gold, or Gold to Silver. However, there will be no refund on your Subscription Plan but you can bring forward any balance points from your previous plan to your new plan.

3. How long are these points valid for?
The points are valid for 12 months.

4. I have a few balance points, which are insufficient to purchase any of your products. Can I get a refund?
It is not our policy to refund any balance. If you wish to continue purchasing our products, we suggest that you renew or upgrade your Subscription Plan. We offer great savings to our subscribers.

5. Why am I not prompted to enter my Credit Card info when I’ve selected to pay by Visa?
Ensure that your system is not installed with a popup blocker. Check if this application exists under Control Panel>Add/Remove program. If it is there, you need to remove it as it blockspop-up messages / windows which are essential in QuestNet.

1. Will QuestNet disclose my personal information to external parties?
QuestNet is committed to protecting the security of our customers' transactions and maintaining the privacy of their personal information.

When you subscribe to QuestNet, you would need to provide us with basic information such as your full name and company name, residential or corporate address, telephone / facsimile numbers, email address, and your preferred method of payment. All required information, which we collect from you, is kept in-house. This information is used to process orders, and to operate and improve our services.

2. How will QuestNet protect my information? Are my online credit card transactions secure?
All information obtained from our valued members is stored on a secured server. Secure Socket Layer (SSL) is the encryption technology QuestNet uses to encrypt ALL payment and personal information transmitted between QuestNet and its users. In addition, ALL user passwords are encrypted in our database to provide MAXIMUM SECURITY. Additional verification procedures are implemented to protect Corporate Members because passwords could be shared among staff.

QuestNet is constantly striving to implement the latest security technologies in order to provide you with the maximum security for all your credit card transactions.

Information about your credit card is never released to any third party other than the authorization network that approves your credit card payment.
